I’m Mohamad Eldhemy, and I go by Dhemy.
I’m a software engineer and technical leader focused on backend systems, software design, and maintainable code. I write about software engineering, testing, distributed systems, and technical leadership.
Over the years, I’ve built backend systems, modernized legacy applications, designed distributed workflows, and led engineering teams.
I also maintain several open-source PHP packages, including Laravel In-App Purchases, Google Play Billing, and App Store IAP. Together, they have reached more than 3 million downloads. I have also contributed to Laravel.
Before software, I studied medicine at Kasr Alainy. I switched to computer science in 2011 and graduated in 2015, ranked first in my class.
